Meet the Team: Lisa

At NIKKI, we believe that you only really make a difference when you know who is there for you behind the scenes. That's why we'd like to introduce you to Lisa van de Bilt. As a Customer Success Manager, she talks daily with associations, ensures that processes run smoothly and knows better than anyone what clubs are struggling with.
From intern to pivot in the organization
Lisa started her career at NIKKI as an intern in the debt collection department, where she learned how to have difficult conversations with a direct approach. She initially had to find out if NIKKI's social approach suited her, and it turned out to be the case: “I started in an administrative role in debtor management, but quickly moved to relationship management. I am now a Customer Success Manager and responsible for our larger customers.”
A day with Lisa
In her current role, Lisa manages the relationship managers and maintains contact with NIKKI's major clients, on the sports club side and also for NIKKI Business. She ensures that everyone always knows where they stand, and that the contribution collection processes run smoothly. “My working day consists of meetings, emailing, sparring with colleagues and resolving customer questions. I love overview and details, so nothing passes me by.”
Human contact provides energy
What really energizes Lisa? “Visit associations. Then you'll see the people behind the email and you'll really get to know the club. That is so valuable. The conversation at the club is always much more personal than an email exchange.”
Challenges at the associations
Lisa knows better than anyone what sports clubs are up against. A shortage of volunteers, a lack of financial knowledge and time pressure are common problems. “Often, there is not even a lack of commitment, but there is a lack of structure or consultation. And treasurers simply don't have time to do all the administration and contribution collection themselves. That's where NIKKI makes a difference.”
Why Lisa fits NIKKI
Lisa combines a keen eye for detail with a direct but empathetic approach. She is solution-oriented, rarely forgets anything she's told and is always willing to go the extra mile. “I wouldn't like sitting alone in front of my laptop all day. I want to help people and really be able to make a difference.”

One thing that not everyone knows about you
“That, in addition to my work, I'm also studying! Many people think I'm already working full-time, but I'm studying college management, so I'm combining it with each other. That makes for a nice change and goes really well! ”
