Legal Internship

Are you accurate, analytical and do you enjoy translating legal issues into clear, practical actions? Then we at NIKKI have a great opportunity for you. For our upcoming internship period, we are looking for an enthusiastic Legal intern to help us professionalize and monitor our legal processes.

We prefer to look for a 3rd-year HBO Law or SJD student who wants to do an internship and enjoys working on topics such as GDPR, compliance and contractual obligations.

What are you going to do?

‍

During your internship, you will participate in a variety of legal and compliance-related topics. You will be given a lot of responsibility and will be part of the further professionalization of our legal basis within NIKKI. Among other things, you will be involved in:

‍

• Supporting the implementation and completion of the AVG Implementation Plan
• Maintaining and keeping legal obligations up to date (such as WKI, agreement frameworks and contractual tasks)
• Drafting, reviewing and managing legal documentation and agreements
• Thinking about and improving internal processes in the field of privacy & legal compliance
• Identifying risks and advising on possible next steps
• Support with internal audits or controls
• Addressing ad-hoc legal questions from the team

• You are following a relevant course for the internship; a number of possible courses are listed at the bottom of the vacancy.
• You are meticulous, reliable and have a keen eye for detail
• You enjoy translating legal rules into clear steps in practice
• You work independently, but you also dare to ask questions when necessary
• You are proactive, have strong communication skills and love structure
• You have an excellent command of the Dutch language, both orally and in writing
• You feel responsible and want to really learn in your field
