Questions about
Nikki business
What is debtor management?
Customers become debtors when they receive an invoice that has not yet been paid. Debtor management is carried out to allow the customer to pay his invoice. In theory, preferably within the specified payment period. But practice shows that this also often only happens afterwards, which makes the process even more important. Debt management includes all the steps necessary to get an individual or company to pay their outstanding bill.
My debtor is unable to pay the bill.
What is possible?
We would like to get in touch with your debtor to hear the story; in consultation with larger amounts or long payment arrangements, we may request an overview of financial information from your debtor. If your debtor is an individual, this should at least include a copy of a monthly statement of your income (salary slip, benefit specification). For companies, a proposal must be substantiated with financial information and the reasons for the arrangement, so that it can be plausible that the arrangement is necessary and reasonable. The debtor must do this within the period specified in the summation.
Does NIKKI work with an iDEAL payment link?
Yes, sending an iDEAL payment link ensures that your debtors can pay easily and immediately. IDEAL is the most used payment method in the Netherlands. It is a reliable and convenient online payment method that is highly trusted. Everything to make it as easy as possible for your debtor to pay.
Do the funds land directly into our account?
The funds received appear in your account immediately as soon as the debtor has paid. Even if this is via the payment link that ProCollect sent. In order to have insight into which debtor has paid his account, we check daily what funds have been received.
When can NIKKI be able to work within my
process to be integrated?

login environment?
Yes, within NIKKI, you can always see what steps have been taken to make your debtor pay. targeted solution?

We do this with our professional call team, which is available from 08:30 - 21:00 to contact each debtor at the right time. The debtor will be contacted at all times from the client's name.
How many contact moments are there
per month?
Through an average of 6 contact moments with the debtor using: phone, text message, e-mail and mail, he is reminded in various ways that there is an invoice for him to pay. Our experience shows that through proactive contact, the client also experiences that NIKKI is an extension of your customer service. Before starting a collection process, we want to have given the debtor the opportunity to pay his account several times.
What happens if the debtor does not pay?
If your debtor does not respond to the correspondence sent, or does not fulfill his payment agreement, NIKKI offers you the option to forward the file to our collection department. NIKKI will inform you at an early stage when it is detected that a debtor is not paying. Once you give approval, the pre-collection process will be started for your debtor. What NIKKI's way of working has built up a legally correct file for.
